  • Expand business and trade connections between North and South
  • Create 422 direct and indirect jobs in Winnipeg, including knowledge-sector jobs to keep our youth in Manitoba

ENHANCE TOURISM

  • Winnipeg will soon be home to the only Inuit Art Centre in the world. Working in partnership with our city’s other world-class institutions as well as economic development agencies, the WAG Inuit Art Centre will speed our trajectory to a cultural capital of Canada
  • Build on Manitoba’s cultural, Indigenous and northern-focused cultural offerings
  • With the Journey to Churchill, the Manitoba Museum, and the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, we are the only province with a tourism package that can tell the truly Canadian story of North and South; one that will inspire more people to visit.
